카나는 지난 5월 17일(토)에 열린 '데모크라시 프렙(Democracy & Prep) 코리안 스트리트 페스티벌 2014' 에 참여했습니다.
한국식 교육 가치를 목표로 삼아 전교생이 필수 외국어로 한국어를 배워 눈길을 끌고 있는 미국 뉴욕 할렘의 '데모크라시 프렙 공립학교'에서 열린 이 행사는 뉴욕을 대표하는 대규모 한국 문화∙예술 행사 중 하나입니다.
카나는 직접 제작한 한글 교육 자료를 통한 한글 이름 쓰기 프로그램, 길거리 분필 아트와 페이스 페인팅 등 다양한 프로그램들을 진행했습니다.

'Democracy & Prep Korean Street Festival' is a large-scaled and representative event of the Korean culture and art community in New York, which has taken place at Democracy Prep High School in Harlem and embedded Korean educational values and teaching methods in their academic curriculum, requiring the entire student body to learn Korean as a foreign language.
